Day 1: Arrival Chianti Independent arrival overnight Chianti.
DAY 2: Chianti Meet your expert driver guide and head towards Chianti Classico region. As you drive you will learn a bit about Chianti region, its history, on wine. Taste a Chianti Classico, a Riserva and an IGT Super Tuscan, paired with local food like salami and cheese. Delicious Lunch and sample more wines together. After lunch, we will visit another highly rated winery. We’ll stroll around one of the lovely Medieval Towns Greve or Castellina in Chianti. Time to shop for specialties and handicrafts. DAY 3: Antinori’s Wines The production of this fine wine dates back to 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori entered as a member, the “Arte Fiorentina”, the Winemakers’ Guild of the city of Florence. Twenty Six Generations later the family still directly involved in the
management. Visit Badia of Passignano located in the Chianti Classico Region and Antinori Chianti Classico. Your exquisite lunch will be served in a charming wine estate in the village of Greve in Chianti. Tour Antinori Chianti Classico vineyard. At the end, continue to Montepulciano, where you will stay for 3 nights. Overnight in Montepulciano ( B,L)
DAY 4: Montepulciano’s Winemakers Today you will enjoy a great experience and meet the producers of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG directly in the headquarters of their wineries. Learn the history and secrets of this great wine. You will visit three wineries in
Montepulciano countryside, walk in the vineyards, taste Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG in each winery. You will also enjoy a Tuscan light lunch in a winery. Overnight in Montepulciano. ( B,L)
DAY 5: Val D’Orcia Explore Val d’Orcia. endless rolling hills covered with grain or sunflowers,and don’t forget the vineyards for the
renowned wines of Brunello and the newcomer on the market, the Val d’Orcia DOC. It is no wonder that this territory, which stretches along the provinces of Siena and Grosseto, is protected as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Overnight in Montepulciano. ( B)
DAY 6: Maremma Stretches between the provinces of Livorno and Grosseto. Maremma is unique because of the variety of its territory: blue sea, long beaches, black rock, hills covered with woods, marshes and flat lands, We drive to the Southern Tuscany Coast and we will have an en route stop in the area of Montecucco Area, a great wine district, An interesting blend of the Maremma hills, Etruscan ruins and the heights of Mount Amiata blend together in one landscape. This area boasts of world class vineyards and also a wide range of flavors in the form of olive oil, honey, truffles, mushrooms, saffron. Overnight in Manciano, Maremma.
DAY 7: Maremma Relax and enjoy surrounding area. Overnight in Manciano, Maremma
DAY 8: Departure Breakfast and independent departure.
