Day 1: ROME Transfer from the airport in Rome to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: ROME After breakfast you will enjoy a 3 hrs “Discovering Rome”, walking tour. Depart hotel 9:00 am and walk to Largo Argentina and continue to, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, ending at Spanish steps in the heart of Rome. Rest of the day at leisure and overnight. (B)
Day 3: ROMA-GROSSETO-PISA-LA SPEZIA 6:30 am depart hotel with your multilingual tour leader and start a delightful trip along the Tyrrhenian Coast towards Grosseto. meandering through the Tuscan Country side you will reach beautiful local winery near the regional park and close to wonderful beaches. Lean winemaking process, from the vineyards to the cellar and aging of wine. Enjoy a tasting of wines. Proceed to Pisa. Free tie and a pleasant walk with you tour leader into the historical centre Piazza dei Miracoli, famous Leaning Tower and Baptistery exterior visits) and other beautiful monuments. Proceed to La Spezia. Dinner and overnight (BD)
DAY 4: LA SPEZIA-PORTOVENERE-GOLFO DEI POETI -CINQUE TERRE-LUCCA-MONTAPERTI After breakfast, departure by boat a day dedicated to the most amazing and enchanting landscape in the World: Cinque Terre. An area suspended between sea, hills and vineyards. Reach Porto Venere and the five villages where you can stop and visit them! Walking into narrow streets of Vernazza and Monterosso . By Train to La Spezia and motor coach to Lucca. Admire medieval buildings, cobblestone streets, and piazzas. Proceed to Montaperti. Dinner and overnight at the hotel (BD)
Day 5: MONTAPERTI-RADDA IN CHIANTI -SAN GIMIGNANO-SIENA -CASTELNUOVO BERARDENGA-MONTAPERTI After breakfast depart for Chianti Classico GALLO NERO region and the village of Radda in Chianti. Visit on your own. Proceed to San Gimignano a tiny hilltop city remained intact through the centuries; famous for its numerous towers. Continue to a farmhouse to enjoy a wine tasting with typical snacks. Continue to Siena and visit of the old city centre, walking along the medieval streets admiring splendid palaces. The sightseeing tour will end at Piazza del Campo where the 600 years old horse-race, “Il Palio” is held each summer. Stop in Castelnuovo Beradenga for an aperitif in a cellar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (BD)
Day 6: MONTAPERTI-MONTEPULCIANO-PIENZA-ROMA After breakfast, departure for Montepulciano an ancient village rich of medieval and Renaissance buildings, famous for one of the oldest wines of Italy, “Nobile di Montepulciano”. Visit a wine cellar and tasting some wines and local products like ham, cheese, and salami. Proceed to Pienza the Renaissance town, well-known for its pecorino cheese. Continue to Rome Hotel Overnight (B)
Day 7: ROME After breakfast private transfer to Rome airport or rail station. (B)
