Chianti Villa Culinary Experience

Holiday designed for travelers who appreciate privacy and want to stay in a luxury Tuscan Villa. Experience Tuscan lifestyle, culture, traditions. Learn to cook authentic Italian dishes with an English speaking Cordon Bleu trained Chef. The Villa is a beautifully restored and furnished farmhouse in Tuscan style, with a very well kept garden, a swimming pool, several terraces, & al fresco dining areas, with magnificent views.


Day 1—

Arrive in Florence, transfer to villa. Meet your host who will introduce your program. Welcome dinner will be served and meet the Chef.

Day 2—

Breakfast and morning at leisure to enjoy the villa or take a stroll to the open air market in Panzano. Light lunch with Tuscan specialties at the Villa. In the afternoon, experience your first cooking lesson with the Chef, followed by the dinner you prepared.

Day 3—

After breakfast, guided, full day excursion by minibus to Siena and San Gimignano. Visit organic farm that cultivates the special purple crocus flower that saffron comes from, as well as extra virgin olive oil, vegetable and an abundance of Tuscan herbs. Lunch served on terrace. After lunch visit San Gimignano, with its soaring towers that dominate the skyline, then transfer back to the Villa. Dinner on your own.

Day 4—

After breakfast, guided walking tour to visit a working farmhouse with vineyards & olive groves. Guided tour of wine cellar and tastings of wine & extra virgin olive oil. Light lunch served at the farmhouse, based on typical Tuscan specialties. Second cooking class in the afternoon followed by dinner.

Day 5—

Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore Panzano or the Chianti villages by public bus, or travel to Florence by public bus. Optional private excursions to Arezzo and Cortona. Dinner on your own.

Day 6—

After breakfast, guided, full day excursion by minibus to Montalcino, Pienza & Montepulciano, travelling through the breathtaking landscapes of the Orcia Valley. First stop, Montalcino, known for its red Brunello wines, then on to Pienza Renaissance town. Time at leisure for lunch. Then onto Montepulciano, one of the most beautiful hill towns in Tuscany. Private guided visit to a flagship wine cellar and wine tasting. Transfer back to the Villa for an unforgettable dinner.

Day 7—

Breakfast. Morning at leisure for sightseeing or taking a walk in the countryside. Light lunch served at the Villa. In the afternoon, third cooking lesson, followed by dinner.

Day 8—

After breakfast, check & departure.
